The Graduate Certificate in Autism is an online course that has been designed to provide autistic and neurodivergent individuals, professionals and parents with the knowledge and skills required to support the successful learning, employment and self-determination of autistic and neurodivergent individuals in community, school, home and employment settings. This course takes a human rights perspective to creating neurodiversity affirming environments, supports and programs. In this degree, you will examine the key principles of diagnosis and assessment and reflect on how the history of autism has led to current beliefs and models of practice for autistic and neurodivergent individuals and their families.
